Clinical Observation of Using Gubiling Pills to Treat lumbar Osteoarthritis

Objective:To observe the curative effect of Gubiling pills,the self-developed traditional Chinese medicine,in the treatment of lumbar osteoarthritis.Methods:120 cases of lumbar osteoarthritis,were randomly classified into the treatment group and the control group.The treatment group were treated with gubiling pills,and the control group was treated with antangmeixin pills,1 week as a course of treatment,3 courses in both.Results:Compared with that before treatment,the pain symptom were significantly alleviated in both groups.The VAS score of both groups was significantly different before and after treatment(P0.01),but there were no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group after treatment(P0.05);The rate of therapeutic effectiveness in treatment group and control group were 93.3% and 95.0% respectively without showing significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:The Gubilin pills could treat lumber osteoarthritis,with efficacy similar to antangmeixin pills.
