Clinical study on treatment of severe viral hepatitis by Compound Glycyrrhizin Injection

Abstract

Objective:To observe the clinical effectiveness of Compound Glycyrrhizin Injection on patients with severe viral hepatitis.Methods:62 patients of severe viral hepatitis were divided into two groups.Controled group(32 cases) were given routine therapy.Treated group(30 cases) were given Compound Glycyrrhizin Injection once daily by intravenous drip infasion at a dosage of 100 ml.All patients were treated for 20 days.Results:Effective rate and liver function of treated group were obviously better than those of controled group(P0.05, respectively).Conclusion:Compound Glycyrrhizin Injection is effective for treatment of severe type of viral hepatitis.Compound Glycyrrhizin Injection is expected to be widely used in the future.
