Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy of compound glycyrrhizin in the treatment of Chronic Hepatitis B.METHODS:A total of 90 patients with Chronic Hepatitis B were randomly divided into control group and trial group:with control group treated with routine hepatic protective therapy(vitamin C,vitamin B6,reduced glutathione sodium and Inosine Tablets),and the trial group treated with compound glycyrrhizin plus the routine therapy as adopted in the control group for 3 months.RESULTS:The improvement in both symptoms and signs in the trial group were significantly higher than in control group(P0.05),with the effective rates respectively at 87.5% and 61.9%(P0.05).CONCLUSION:The clinical efficacy of compound glycyrrhizin is satisfactory, and which plays an active role in hepatic protection and enzyme reduction.
