Abstract

Soil enzymes can reflect the biological activity of soil,it is important for promoting nutrient absorption of crops and its activity is affected by fertilization.Randomized block design was used in the experiment including three bio-fertilizers applied with mixing with seed, mixing with chemical fertilizer, mixing with both seed and chemical fertilizer, respectively to study the influence of biofertilizer application on catalase and urease activities in soybean rhizosphere soil. The results showed that the catalase and urease activities had a parabolic variation over the whole growth period of soybean, and they were the highest in the bloom stage. The urease and catalase activities under the treatments of three bio-fertilizers were higher than that under the treatment of chemical fertilizer only. The catalase and urease activities under the treatment of mixing bio-fertilizer both with seed and with chemical fertilizer were the highest among three application methods. It indicated that bio-fertilizer could effectively improve the catalase and urease activities and mixing bio-fertilizer both with seed and with chemical fertilizer simultaneously.
