Zhu Liyuan and Contemporary Chinese Aesthetics

Over the past three decades,Zhu Liyuan made deep analysis and refutation of hot topics such as theory aphasia ,crisis of the legitimacy of literary theory .He found our own trail of research of modernizing Chinese aesthetics and literary theory by analyzing the history of western aesthetics,basic issues on aesthetics,literary theory,Marxist aesthetics and Chinese literature and art.His proposal and development of Practical Ontology Aesthetics is not only a sublation of Practical Aesthetics,but also means that Chinese aesthetics and literary theory have reached a new phase under the guiding principles of Marxism.
