Abstract

ZHU Guang-qian's Letters on Aesthetics is an outcome of correcting and conforming his forepart aesthetics theory by Marx's Manuscript of Economics and Philosophy in 1844.Written in a special historic phase,the book advocated human's value,defended aesthetics,searched arts,greatly promoted the thought liberation movement in 1980s,and became a symbol of China's aesthetics and learning revival
