Abstract

The Dongting Lake wetland is one of the largest lacustrine wetland eco-system in China. There are rich wetland resources. But human's exploitation and utilization unreasonable for a long time has led to the wetland's ecosystem degeneration and ecological devaluation which restrict the economic sustainable development in Dongting lake area. The guarantee of the regional economical sustainable development and the wetland resources sustainable utilization is to renew the wetland eco-environment and to protect the wetland resources in Dongting lake area.
