THE CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF SERUM PG,CA19-9,CEA IN DIAGNOSING GASTRIC CARCINOMA

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the diagnosis and prognosis value of serum PGⅠ,PGⅡ,PGⅠ/PGⅡ,CA19-9 and CEA level for patients with gastric cancer.Methods:The contents of serum PGⅠ,PGⅡ,CA19-9 and CEA were detected by Radioimmunoassay in 60 patients with gastric cancer and 40 healthy people.Then the results were investigated combined with clinicopathological data.Results:The contents of serum PGⅠin gastric cancer group was significantly lower than the control group,while the contents of serum PGⅠand CA19-9 were higher than the control group(P0.05).The contents of serum PGⅠand CA19-9 had statistical relatiuity with clinical stage(P0.05),while the contents of serum CEA only had statistical relativity betweenⅠ,Ⅱ and Ⅳ stage(P0.05).The contents of serum PGⅠ,CA19-9 and CEA had statistical relativity with lymph node metastasis(P0.05).The AUC of PGⅠ、PGⅡand PGⅠ/PGⅡwere 0.850、0.502 and 0.852.It showed that PGⅠand PGⅠ/PGⅡ had a higher diagnostic value in gastric cancer,while the diagnostic value of PGⅡwas lower.Conclusion:The combined detection of serum PG,CA19-9 and CEA could improve the accuracy of diagnosing in gastric cancer.They had clinical application value for early gastric cancer diagnosis.
