Abstract

Based on practice,the author researches on Competitive Intelligence(CI) research and operation of the intelligence and information institutions.The article raises the point that CI research and operation should put an emphasis on patent analysis and play an assisting role in traditional business.The paper provides new research directions and working ideas to CI business exploration to some intelligence and information institutions.
