Abstract
Objective To investigate the magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) features of central neurocytoma(CNC) for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis. Methods MRI findings in 13 cases of pathologically proved CNC patients were retrospectively analyzed. Results All lesions were located at the septum pellucidum between the lateral ventricles and(or) the third ventricle near the foramen of Monro.MRI features were as follows: mainly isointensity with mixed hypointensity on T1WI,isointensity and hyperintensity on T2WI,and marked inhomogeneous enhancement on Gd-DTPA.Conclusion MRI imaging has some specificity that is helpful to the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of CNC.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
