Abstract
The main bridge of Fumin Bridge in Tianjin is a single tower and spatial cable plane self-anchored suspension bridge. The tower of the bridge is a single column, the main cables over the main span are of the three-dimensional geometric shape whose projection in elevation and in plan is parabolic and the cables over the side span are arranged in a way of one group(two cables in parallel) without utilization of the vertical hangers. In this paper, the structural design features of the bridge are mainly described and the spatial analysis calculation results of the global structure of the bridge are briefly presented as well.
