Abstract
Objective This study investigated the effect of microRNA-98 on cisplatin resistance in cisplatin-resistant human lung adenocarcinoma cell line A549/DDP.Method MicroRNA-98 was selected using MicroRNA microarray and bioinformatics.Pre-miR-98(TM)(miR-98) was transient transfected into A549/DDP cells.Drug sensitivity of the cells to cisplatin(DDP) was analyzed with MTT.Result The expression of MicroRNA-98 was marked downregulation in the A549/DDP compared to parental A549 cells.MTT results showed that miR-98 transfectants had a higher cell inhibition rate than A549/DDP cells or negative.Conclusion MicroRNA-98 increased cell spontaneous sensitized 549/DDP cells to DDP.
