Study on Training of Innovative Talents in Higher Education of Western Ethnic Regions——Taking Jishou University as an Example

The cultivation of innovative talents in colleges and universities of western minority areas,can not only improve their own competitiveness,but also improve the ability of serving the regional economic development. However,the lack of congenital software and hardware,leads to colleges and universities of western region facing many obstacles in cultivating innovative talents. Therefore,these colleges and universities should combine the national goal of education planning with its realities,explore the strategies of cultivating innovative talents: one is the clarity and specification of objectives of cultivation of innovative talents;two is to give full play to teachers in the cultivation of innovative talents; three is to create innovative atmosphere of campus culture; four is to establish the evaluation mechanism that is beneficial to the cultivation of innovative talents.
