Abstract
Code-switching appears frequently in the Singaporean movie I,Not Stupid Too.As an important phenomenon of verbal communication,it is analyzed from the perspective of memetics.Based on the typical examples in the movie, three independent factors concerning the adaptation of memes are explained. Moreover, during the study of the representational content, the inner parts of code-switching further are explored. Thus with the study of the phenotypic memes,it is essential to analyze the genotypic memes of code-switching from the following contextual factors: social norms, psychological tendency and communicative occasions, which will promote the progress of the verbal communication.
