Abstract

AfterWorld War Ⅱ,driven by such factors as new technological revolution,economic development and demand for education,vocational and technical education in developed countries have achieved rapid development.In this context,higher vocational and technical colleges produced in in 1980s,which was represented by short-term vocational universities.After experiments,expanding scale and education reform,the China Modelof higher vocational education have produced,which is a new model of vocational education development suited to Chinese national conditions and with Chinese characteristics.In the view of vocational education development in the world,higher vocational education in is an education and teaching model as well as a dynamic model of development;the function of education is its great characteristic;cultivating innovative and high-skilled talents,taking regional,international and lifelong development road are requirements put forward by new economic and social development background.
