Spacial Differentiation and Countermeasure of Sustainable Development Ability in North Jiangsu

Based on sustainable development theory,the evaluation index system of regional sustainable development ability of North Jiangsu has been built.The comprehensive evaluation method and GIS are used to assess the sustainable development ability of North Jiangsu.The conclusion are as follows: it is higher of the economy sustainable development ability in the south and north of North Jiangsu while lower in the middle of North Jiangsu;it is higher of resource-environmental sustainable development ability in the middle of North Jiangsu while lower in the east and west of North Jiangsu;it is higher of social sustainable development ability in the zone alone sea and east Longhair railway line of North Jiangsu while lower in the middle of North Jiangsu;the comprehensive sustainable development ability takes on the pattern of type 工 in North Jiangsu;regard key city as core,sustainable development ability takes the form of divergently decreasing trends to perimeter. Finally,the countermeasures of strengthening sustainable development ability construction of north Jiangsu are given by strengthening resource environmental management,optimizing the structure of regional industry and adjusting regional space overall arrangement.
