Effect of combination of Xiaoyao San and pill of six ingredients with rehmannia and mirtazapine on the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder

Objective To observe the effect of combination of Xiaoyao San and pill of six ingredients with rehmannia and mirtazapine on the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder.Methods 34 patients with generalized anxiety disorder patients were randomly divided into two groups,the control group of 17 patients took mirtazapine treatment,the treatment group of 17 cases took Xiaoyao San and pill of six ingredients with rehmannia and mirtazapine,and then the therapeutic effect,HAMA score and adverse reaction were observed in two groups.Results The total effective rate in treatment(94.1%) was higher than that in control group(76.5%,P0.05).There was statistically meaningful between before and after treatment on HAMA score in two groups(P0.05).HAMA score after treatment was decreased(P0.05).Incidence rate of adverse reaction in treatment group(11.8%) was lower than that in control group(23.5%,P0.05).Conclusion Combination of Xiaoyao San and pill of six ingredients with rehmannia and mirtazapine has a significant effect on the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder,but adverse reaction was little,it is worthy of clinical application and popularization.
