Abstract

The pyrite cinder from Guangxi contains Fe 58.61% and As 0.33%.In this research, gravity separation was used to remove gangue minerals and improve the grade of iron. Then, the concentrate obtained by gravity separation was processed to reduce arsenic by chemical method. The effects of grinding fineness, temperature, acidity, etc.on the removal of arsenic were investigated.Considering the cost of practical application,in the optimal conditions,an iron concentrate with Fe 63.30% and As 0.033% can be obtained.
