Abstract
The technical process of recovering iron concentrate from pyrite cinder was studied. The best technical process included magnetic separating at 120kA/m after classification and grinding, and gravity separation of magnetic tailings with helix screw-chute.The mixed iron concentrate contained 61.32% Fe with a recovery of 83.28% and a yield of 72.86%.High grade of concentrate can't be obtained without grinding. The grade of concentrate could be increased slightly if all pyrite cinder was ground, but the recovery would be down greatly.
