Clinical analysis of endoscopic sinus surgery and Caldwell-Luc surgery for fungal sinusitis

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of functional nasal endoscopic sinus surgery combined with Caldwell-Luc surgery in the treatment of fungal sinusitis.Methods:Functional nasal endoscopic sinus surgery and Caldwell-Luc surgery.Results:The surgery for fungal sinusitis destroyed the abnormal tissues completely and made unobstructed drainage.All of patients had no recurrence during 1~2 years follow-up after operation.Conclusion:Endoscopic sinus surgery combined with Caldwell Luc surgery has better curative effect on fungal sinusitis.
