Abstract

Objective:To analyze the effect of budesonide inhalation on acte laryngitis in children.Methods:100 cases of hospitalized children with acte laryngitis, were randomly divided into control group(50 cases) and treatment group(50 cases) according to treatment sequence as the object of study, two groups were given conventional treatment, such as anti—infection, oxygen inhalation, stop—coughing, etc.the control group was given intravenous dexamethasone 0.2~0.3 mg/(kg×d),1 time/d,while treatment group was treated with inhalation of budesonide suspension,1 mg/time,2 times/d.The treatment lasted for 3 to 5 days. Results:The total effective rate of treatment group(94.0%)was higher than the control group(80.0%)(χ~2=4.33,P0.05). The time of bark—like cough, hoarseness, inspiratory laryngeal ming and hospitalization in the treatment group was obviously shorter than in the control group(P0.05).Conclusions:Aerosol inhalation of budesonide shows a good efficacy, rapid relief of symptomswith and shorter hospital stay for the treatment of acte laryngitis.
