Abstract
This thesis checks up the economic growth convergence and its existing mechanism in 15 cities around Yangtze Rive Delta since the Reform and Opening-up. The checkout results are thoroughly analyzed and discussed. The economic growth convergence phenomenon has evidently existed in the above -mentioned cities since the Reform and Opening-up. But the convergence process is not a beeline. Shanghai, as the center in Yangtze River Delta, evidently affects the convergence degree and process. The main function mechanism of the economic growth convergence and its changing process are not capital boundary requite descending, technological pervasion and shift or industrial structure variance. They are the spatial choices and relevant evolution rules of the international capital diversion in the context of economic globalization.
