The form of collectivism has a long history which can be traced back to social life of people in the primitive society.With the development of productive forces,it then developed into a natural collectivism.When it comes into the capitalist society,individuals obtain formal freedom in the collective.In modern times,people's minds are still,in some degree,confined to the traditional mode of thinking in spite of the invention and adoption of scientific Marxist collectivism.Hence the current situation requires us to re-read the classics in order to re-understand the collectivism from a practical perspective.To achieve it,first of all,great importance should be placed on people's position in the collective;and then regularity and purposiveness should be united.
