Abstract
Objecttive:To evaluate the clinical effect and adverse reaction of oxaliplatin combined with leucovorin and 5-Fu in the treatment of advanced gastric carcinoma. Methods:Oxaliplatin 85 mg/m2 was given by intravenous drip for 2 hours on the 1st day, leucovorin 200 mg/m2 was given by intravenous drip for 2 hours on the 1st~2nd day and 5-Fu 600 mg/m2 for 2 hours followed by 900 mg/m2 on the 1st~2nd day once every 2 weeks. Results:Of 53 patients with advanced gastric carcinoma,3 were CR,11 were PR,5 SD and 8 PD,the total effective rate was 51.85%.The main toxicity and side effects were peripheral neuropathy, nausea and vomiting as well as hand-foot syndrome. Conclusion:Oxaliplatin combined with leucovorin and 5-Fu is an effective regimen in patients with advanced gastric carcinoma.
