The Effect and Prognosis of Different Dose of Simvastatin Combined with Clopidogrel in the Treatment of TIA Patients

Objective To study the effect of different doses of simvastatin combined with clopidogrel in treatment and prognosis in patients with transient ischemic attack(TIA).Methods 105 patients were randomly divided into three groups,35 patients in A、B、C group were given simvastatin with the dose of 10mg,20mg and 40mg,qd.All of them were given routine treatment and 75mg clopidogrel,The recent efficiencies,adverse reaction,lipid levels and prognosis were compared among them.Results There was no significant difference in treatment resultin the three groups(P0.05).TC、TG、LDL of C group were significantly decreased and LDL was significantly elevated than A,B group,but it is insignificant between A and B group.There was no significant difference(P0.05)in adverse drug reactions among the three groups,In the following 12~36 months,fewer recurrent TIA and the lower proportion of cerebral infarction(P0.05)were found in the group B and C than A.Conclusion Based on the application of combined therapy of simvastatin and clopidogrel,40mg dose can reduce the level of lipids,and was safe and better in treatment efficiency when compared with the dosage of 20mg and 10mg.
