Abstract
Objective To explore the characteristics and influencing factors of students' coping styles,and to provide scientific evidence for the interventions of their coping styles.Methods A total of 863 middle school students were tested by using TCSQ,EMBU,SAQ,GSEC and SPSS.Results The students' scores of positive coping(34.34±5.87) was higher than the negative coping(27.53±6.55).Positive coping was positively correlated to self-acceptance,self-efficacy and social support but negatively correlated to parental incorrect rearing patterns.Regression analysis indicated that the influencing factors to coping styles were self-acceptance,supports from friends,self-efficacy and fathers' refusing and denying(F=78.1,P0.01).Conclusion Enhancing students' self-acceptance,self-efficacy and friends' support and reducing fathers' negative rearing patterns are helpful to positive coping styles for middle school students.
