Abstract
Objective:To explore the expression of ER and E-cadherin in endometrial carcinoma tissues and its clinical significance.Method:Using Western-blot to detect the ER and E-cadherin protein expressions through 10 cases of endometrial hyperplasia,10 cases of endometrial atypical hyperplasia specimens and 30 cases of endometrioid adenocarcinoma specimens,moreover,to analyze their correlations with the clinical pathology index.Results:(1)The positive expression rate of ER and E-cadherin in endometrial carcinoma tissue was significantly lower than that of endometrial hyperplasia and endometrial atypical hyperplasia specimens.(2) ER and E-cadherin in endometrial carcinoma has no relevance to the age of the patients(P0.05).The positive expression rate of ER and E-Cad declined when the clinical stages increased,tissue differentiation reduced,deep myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis in patients with surgery(P0.01).Conclusion:ER and E-cadherin in endometrial carcinomas showed low expression,and ER and E-cadherin expression were positively correlated in endometrial carcinoma;therefore,they may have synergic effects during the endometrial carcinogenesis.
