Abstract

Objective: To observe the clinical effection of asthma in acute stage and allergic rhinitis(AR) treated with modified xiaoqinglong decoction. Method: 80 cases were randomly divided into two groups. 42 cases in the treatment group were treated with routine westen medicine combined with modified xiaoqinglong decoction, 38 cases in the control group were treated with routine western medicine alone. Result: The total effective rate in two groups were resemble, but the clinical control rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group with significant differences(P0.05).the pulmonary function in the treatment group was superior to that of control group, and the IgE in the serum and the acidophil counts were obviously reduced than before. Conclusion: Modified Xiaoqinglong decoction has significant effect on AR and asthma.
