Effect of budesonide in treating bronchial asthma of children.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of budesonide suspension in children asthma.Methods 50 patients with bronchial asthma were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group with 24 cases and the control group with 26 cases.The two groups were given conventional therapy,except that the treatment group was given budesonide suspension aerosol therapy.Results After 1week,compared with the control group,the dyspnea,gasping,coughing,wheezing improved,the length of stay shortened and the lung function parameters,including PEF%,FEV1% improved in the treatment group.The differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P0.05).The adverse reaction in the treatment group was little.Conclusion In the treatment of children with acute asthma attack,budesonide aerosol therapy is of effective,safe and worth popularizing.
