The Clinical Effect Observation of Naomaitai Capsule Combined with Donepezil Hydrochloride in Treatment of Vascular Dementia

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Naomaitai capsules comined with Donepezil hydrochloride in the treatment of vascular dementia(VD).Methods The 80 patients with VD were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group.Both groups included 40 cases respectively.Treatment group were treated with Naomaitai capsule combined with Donepezil hydrochcoride(Aricept)oral,control group were treated with Donepezil hydrochloride orally,a total of 6 weeks of treatment.The two groups before and after treatment to evaluate mental state assessment scale(MMSE),activity of daily living scale(ADL),kyohko hasegawa dementia scale(HDS)and to observe the adverse reaction.Results Comparison of MMSE,ADL,HDS scores after treatment in the two groups,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Adverse reactions of the two groups were mild.Conclusion Naomaitai capsules plus Donepezil hydrochcoride are far more effective than Donepezil hydrochcoride alone in the treatment of incipient VD.
