The Resource List and Ornamental Value Evaluation of Ornamental Fruit Plants in Summer and Winter in Maolan Nature Reserve

To explore the wild ornamental fruit plant resources,the resource distribution and species of ornamental fruit plants in summer and winter in Maolan Nature Reserve were researched,based on the typical sample survey and literature statistics. The results indicated that abundant plant resources of ornamental fruit plants in summer and winter were found in Maolan Nature Reserve,with a collection of 32 families,46 genera and 114 species(or varieties),more than 90% genera and species distributed in the evergreen and deciduous broad-leaf mixed forest in the lime-stone of central subtropical zone,but the resources were fewer,and the majority species were accompanying plants under the forest. By taking the method of score to quantify to evaluate the ornamental value of 114 fruit plants,31 kinds of high-quality fruit plant resources were screened,and the results could provide reference for the scientific introduction and domestication.
