Abstract

The main kinds of wild ornamental plants are dealt with in the paper in order to provide the readers with basic data and scientific evidence for further study.On the basis of investigation and researches,it is found that the wild ornamental plants in Maojingba Nature Reserve,Hebei amount to 187 species,belonging to 71 genera and 36 families.Among them,76 species,belonging to 21 families,have the special value of introduction and utilization. The utilization of these species in gardens and their ornamental characteristics are classified.
