Abstract

Objective: To study the association of Chlamydia trachomatis(CT) and ureaplasma urealyticum(UU) infection in infertility. Methods: CT and UU were detected respectively in the cervical and urethra secretion by Clearview Window and biochemical reaction culture in 168 infertile women and 125 couples of some of them assigned as monitored groups and 106 normal women and 96 couples of some of them assigned as control groups, respectively. Results: There were significant differences in positive rate of CT and UU between monitored and control groups (P0.005) . Conclusion: The infertile women in child-bearing period without suffering from other infectious agents are closely correlated with CT and UU.
