Abstract
The thesis holds that the rhymes can be classified into 22 classes through studying the connections,investigations on 1970 rhyme segments of 1129 archaic poems written by four poets of Jiangxi in the Yuan Dynasty and yin sheng rhyme has eight classes.The classification of yin sheng rhyme and yang sheng rhyme is consistent with its classification in Meng Gu Zi Yun.The classification shows that poets of Jiangxi rhyme words on the basis of formal language in tong yu.The poetic rhymes of Jiangxi in the Yuan Dynasty also show the characteristics of Jiangxi dialect and the dialect of the south.
