Study on the Rhyme in the Poetry by Wei Yuan

Abstract
The current scholars only make literary study on the poetry by Wei Yuan and have no language research. The essay axmines the rhymes by Wei Yuan. The rhymes are divided into 18 categories of rhyme, there are 7Yang rhyme, 7Yin rhyme,4Ru rhyme. We stuty the rhyme characters and the rhyming in the Yin rhyme in the poetry by Wei Yuan. The essay will help to reveal the characteristics of Hunan dialect in late Qing Dynasty, and enrich the history of Chinese dialect as well as the history of Hunan dialects.
