Abstract
Objective To study the possibility that the attachments were used in pure titanium frame removable dentures.Methods The 37 pure titanium frame removable dentures were made and 37 Co-Ni alloy frane removable dentures were made for 55 patients.The making methods of two kinds material denture were compared.The dentures and situations of abutments were checked in clinic,the changing of the height of alveolar of the abutments were measured by X- digital-computer.Results There were not differences significantly in the effects of dentures a nd the changing of the height of alveolar of the abutments between pure titanium frame removable dentures and Co-Ni alloy frame.But the making methods that the attachments were used in pure titanium frame removable denture had some differences from Co-Ni alloy frame removable dentures.Conclusion It was perfect effects in clinic to use the attachments in pure titanium frame removable dentures.
