Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of pure titanium frame removable denture. Methods 71 pure titanium frame removable dentures and 97 Co-Cr alloy frame removable dentures were made for 168 patients. Compare the differences of the try-in,adjustment,denture stomatitis and patient's satisfaction between the pure titanium frame removable dentures and Co-Cr alloy frame removable dentures. Results The titanium frame removable denture is better than the Co-Cr alloy frame removable denture in the aspects of try-in,adjustment,denture stomatitis, the satisfaction of chewing, retention and comfortable. Conclusion The clinical effect of pure titanium frame denture is better than Co-Cr alloy frame removable denture.
