Abstract
Objective To explore the utilization of vertical easy ball precision attachments (VEBPAs) in removable partial dentures. Nine removable partial dentures with metal base plate were retained with two sets of VEBPAs that were attached to combined porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns (PC). The retention, stabilization and function of each denture were observed. Results The removable partial dentures retained with VEBPAs had good retention, stabilization and function, and the patients' esthetic desires were greatly satisfied. Conclusion VEBPA is a promising retainer in removable partial dentures.
