Abstract
An ion chromatography method has been employed to determine the chlorate and the perchlorate in explosive residues of chlorate explosive based on a high capacity anion analytical column named IonPac AS23,suppressor conductivity detection and KOH used as isocratic elution.Four anions covering chlorate and perehlorate could be eluted within 19 min and the retention times of chlorate and perehlorate were 5.0 min and 17.7 min,the detection limits were 3.0 μg/L and 5.0 μg/L(S/N=3)respectively.When applied in two cases, the spiked recoveries of four anions were from 94.2% to 101.1%.
