Drug Sensitivity Detection of Escherichia coli in Large-scale Pig Farms in Zhunyi City

Abstract

[Objective]The research aimed to master the drug sensitivity of Escherichia coli in large-scale farms in Zhunyi City and provide data for monitoring animal-derived bacteria in Guizhou Province. [Method]335 samples of pig anal swab and fresh manure from total sewage pool were collected large-scale pig farms in Zhunyi City to isolate positive E. coli. The drug sensitivity of the isolated E. coli was detected by using broth microdilution method. [Result]334 strains of positive E. coli were identified. The drug sensitivity rates of the isolated E. coli to 7 kinds of antibacterial drugs were as follows: sulfamonomethoxine Sodium terramycin enrofloxacin ceftiofur florfenicol ciprofloxacin gentamicin. Multiple drug resistance was mainly concentrated in 4、5、6 and 7 resistant. [Conclusion]The drug sensitivity of E. coli was serious in large-scale pig farms in Zhunyi City and the multiple drug sensitivity was worse. The drug sensitivity of E. coli from total sewage pool was higher than that of swine anal swab.
