Effect of Zhuanggu Jianxi Decoction on IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-α, NO in Synovial Fluid of Knee Osteoarthritis

To investigate the effect and its mechanism of zhuanggu jianxi decoction on knee osteoarthritis(KOA),60 cases of KOA were randomly divided into two groups,the experimental group treated with zhuanggu jianxi decoction,the control group treated with zhuanggu guanjie pill for 8 weeks,the levels of IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-α,NO in synovial fluid and symptom,physical sign of knee were observed before and after treatment.The result showed that the levels of IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-α,NO significantly decrased after treatment in two groups(P0.01),but the levels of IL-1β and TNF-α in experimental group were lower than that of the control group.The curative effect of the experimental group is better than that of the control group.Conclusion: zhuanggu jianxi decoction is effective for KOA,it can reduce the cytokines in synovial fluid of KOA and prevent the damage of inflammatory factors on chondrocyte and mesochondrium.
