Abstract
Objective To improve the accuracy of the rapid intraoperative diagnosis of breast masses. Methods(We took) both imprint cytology and frozen section detection, and compared the results with the postoperation histopathologic diagnosis. Results Among 104 cases, 99 were diagnosed correctly with frozen section, (95.19%) for correct rate; 101 were diagnosed correctly with imprint cytology, (96.15%) for correct rate; considering the combination methods,103 were diagnosed correctly and the correct rate reach to (99.04%).Conclusion Use both imprint cytology and frozen section detection during operation can increase the accuracy of rapid intraoperative diagnosis of breast masses.
