Clinical observation on 100 cases of gastrointestinal dysfunction in diabetes treated with Fenxiaoqingli decoction

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Fenxiaoqingli decoction on gastrointestinal dysfunction in diabetes.Methods 205 cases of gastrointestinal dysfunction in diabetes were randomly divided into treatment and control groups.110 patients in treatment group were treated with oral Fenxiaoqingli decoction.95 cases in control group were treated with oral cisapride.The therapeutic efficacy of two groups was observed after 1 month.Results The total efficiency in treatment group was 85.4%;total efficiency of control group was 68.4%.The total efficiency of treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P0.05).Each symptom scores after treatment were significantly reduced compared with those before treatment in the treatment group(P0.05,P0.01).Each symptom scores except anorexia,nausea,loose stool and malnutrition after treatment were significantly reduced compared with those before treatment in the control group(P0.05,P0.01).The improvement of fullness after eating,nausea,constipation,loose stool and malnutrition in treatment group were superior to those in control group(P0.05).Conclusion Fenxiaoqingli decoction can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of diabetes gastrointestinal function disorder patients,promote gastrointestinal motility,and less adverse reactions,its therapeutic effect was better than that of western medicine alone.
