Abstract
Objective To establish an HPLC method for the determination of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid in Houyanning tablets. Methods HPLC was performed on Diamonsil C18(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) at room temperature, the mobile phase was methanol-water-acetic acid(80∶20∶0.5).The flowing rate was 1.0 ml/min,and the detection wavelength was 215 nm,the amount of input was 20 μl.Results The content of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid showed a good linearity in the range of 7.31~73.1 μg(r=0.999 8) and 24.27~242.7 μg(r=0.999 7),the average recoveries of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid were 99.61%(RSD=1.06%) and 99.82(RSD=1.21%).Conclusion This method is simple and accurate with good recurrence, and can be used for the quality control of the Houshuning tablets.
