URBAN MASTER PLAN FORMULATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS OF CENTRAL GOVERNMENT:UNDERSTANDING THE COMMENTS ON URBAN MASTER PLANS RECENTLY MADE BY CAUPD IN THE EXAMINATION OF CENTRAL GOVERNMENT

After reviewing the procedure,requirements and achievements of urban master plan examination by the central government,this paper analyzes the requirements in the comments of Ministry of Construction on urban master plan outline,the requirements in the comments of 15 Ministries on the draft result of master plan,and the requirements of the State Council in the examination of master plan result.Then it analyzes the critical role of examination system of master plan and the issues need to be paid attentions to.And it also provides ideas on the improvement of master plan examination and other related works.
