Diagnostic value of treadmill exercise test in patients with coronary heart disease

Objective: To investigate the clinical significance of treadmill exercise test(TET) in the noninvasive diagnosis of coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods: 260 patients were submitted to TET up to the average interval of 10 days before having coronary angiography on suspicions of coronary heart disease.Statistical analysis was used to assess the sensitivity and specificity of TET,to compare the susceptibility of coronary artery disease,and to analyze the relevance between the various severities of Coronary lesions and exercise test parameter.Results: The susceptibility of flat coronary heart disease test was 76.1 %,specificity 61.9%,accuracy 70.6%,whose sensitivity related to coronary artery disease.The sensitivities of dual and triple Coronary lesions were higher than that of one-leg lesions(P0.05).Compared with precordial,the inferior ST segment changes have high false-positive(P0.05).Conclusion: Treadmill test is an ideal non-traumatic diagnosis for checking coronary heart disease.Multi-parameters can have preliminary estimation on the disease and a comprehensive analysis can improve the diagnosis rate.
