Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of treatment of essential hypertension with Nifedipine sustained-release tablets combined with enalapril. Methods 210 outpatients undergoing e ssential h ypertension were randomly divided into treatment group(T)with 110 cases and group(C)with 100 cases. In group C,enalapril tablets(10 mg)Once a day during the firet 2 weeks. If systolic blood pressure was greater than 140 mm Hg and diastolic blood pressure was greater than 90 mm Hg at the end of the second weeks,enalapril(10 mg)once a day were added respectively to 8 weeks(8 weeks for once course). In group T,enalapril tablets(10 mg)combined with Nifedipine sustained-release tablets(10 mg)once a day during the first 2 weeks. If systolic blood pressure was greater than 140 mm Hg and diastolic blood pressure was greater than 90 mm Hg at the end of the second weeks,enalapril(10 mg)once a day were added respectively to 8 weeks(8 weeks for once course).Blood pressure,Glucose and ECG were measured. Results The Blood pressure of the two groups were remarkably down, but group T is satisfactory than groups C(89.09%/74.00%),there were significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion Nifedipine sustained-release tablets combined with enalapril is better than singly using Valsartan In treatment of essential hypertension.
