Clinical efficacy of Xueshuantong injection combined with benazepril for diabetic nephropathy

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Xueshuantong injection combined with benazepril for diabetic nephropathy(DN),and to explore its therapeutic mechanism.Methods Forty cases of phase Ⅲ DN patients with blood stasis pattern were randomized into control group(benazepril group) and trial group(Xueshuantong injection combined with benazepril).The level of urinary albumin,urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum creatinine(Scr)were measured at the end of 2 weeks.The clinical efficacy was compared.Results Compared with control group,the incidence of albuminuria decreased significantly in trial group(P0.05).There was no significant difference in Scr and BUN between two groups after treatment(P0.05).After treatment,the clinical symptoms were effectively improved in both groups.Conclusion Xueshuantong injection combined with benazepril can significantly protect DN patients by improving the blood stasis state.
