Clinical observation of pantoprazple-based triple therapy for peptic ulcer

Objective To investigate the efficacy of triple therapy with pantoprazple,clarithromycin and amoxicillin. Methods 85 cases with peptic ulcer were randomly divided into treatment group(43 cases)and control group(42 cases),control group were treated with omeprazole combined with clarithromycin and amoxicillin. Treatment group were treated with pantoprazple combined with clarithromycin and amoxicillin. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks,and then compared the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions. Results The total clinical effective rate in treatment group(93.0%)was significantly higher than that in control group(71.4%)(P 0.05),and the adverse reaction rate in treatment group(14.0%) and in control group(26.2%)have no statistical difference(P 0.05). Conclusion Treatment for peptic ulcer with pantoprazple combined with clarithromycin and amoxicillin is an effective and safe treatment,it is worthy for clinical promotion.
