Abstract
The schiff base derived from o-zanillina and o-aminophenol was synthesized and characterized by IR,elemental analysis,1H NMR and single crystal X-ray diffraction.The crystal belongs to monoclinic system,the space group is P 21/c,with the crystal cell parameters a =1.043 60(11),b=0.882 79(92),c=1.273 98(13) nm,α = 90.000(0),β = 95.823(13),γ = 90.000(0)°,V =1.168(2) nm3,Z = 4,Dc= 1.384 g/cm3,Mr = 243.25,R1= 0.052 8,wR2 = 0.155 4.
